Overall, my wife, son, and his friend had a great time on the Norwegian Joy and really enjoyed our time in Bermuda as well. I'd definitely recommend this cruise.

Embarkation in New York was very easy. I don't know that much can be done to speed up the process given the number of people embarking, but it did take a while.

The food was very good, though there was a difference in quality among the dining options. The main dining room and specialty restaurants were great. The buffet was as I would expect, not great but good.
Onboard Activities

The teens with us enjoyed the go carts and the activities provided on board were many and varied.

We didn't see much live entertainment on board, but the main stage show was excellent.

The ship was great. There were so many different areas to hang out in depending on what we were looking for at any particular time.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin wasn't large--and I wouldn't have expected it to be--but it served my wife and I and two teens just fine for the time we were on board. One doesn't tend to spend much time in one's cabin on a cruise I've found.
Ship tip
If you're an early riser like me, get a cup of coffee from Starbucks and spend time on the Waterfront enjoying the ocean around you.
