Review summary

Our 2nd cruise in a row that we felt we didn’t get to enjoy all the ports of call, we assume was due to weather related issues but NCL never explains why they didn’t stop. 1 out of 3 ports for our previous cruise and 1 of 2 this cruise. We like to cruise with the opportunity to visit new countries so when the ship doesn’t stop it’s extremely disappointing. It’s like paying for a steak dinner and getting a chicken dinner with no compensation.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Coast Guard inspection slowed down embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overall quality and quantity lacking compared to previous cruises, specialty restaurants not worth the extra $$$

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools we’re good but loaded with kids

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Beatles shows were very good along with other stage shows

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was great, but guest Services often gave answers that didn’t pertain to the question.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All was fine

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Chairs on balcony too narrow and uncomfortable to sit in. Sofa bed couch not comfortable. Room was clean

Ship tip

Be prepared to lower your standards

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

Travel agency bus directly to ship for embarkation

Norfolk, Virginia Did not visit port

Ship didn’t stop, no announcement as to why…

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Bermuda is probably beautiful but due to gail force winds for 3+ days site seeing took a back seat. Our excursion to horseshoe bay was cancelled

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Extremely slow, massive long lines, seemed unorganized

Stop cruising during hurricane season. That’s why prices are cheaper.
