Review summary

This was my second cruise with NCL. I was planning to purchase toward future cruise with NCL, however after this experience I have no plans to cruise with NCL again.

We had to wait hours past our checking time to board, due to problems with the ship.

The room size and layout were good. The bed was okay for me, but not for my husband.

Ship tip

The communication for change in itinerary was very poor!!! NCL knew about this before we departed, however they did not let the passengers know until we got to our rooms. They were not willing to make any concessions for the inconvenience and only credited $10, which did not even cover port charges for that day.

This itinerary was cancelled by NCL without proper communication to passengers. This was a big inconvenience and NCL was not willing to make concessions.

The area was beautiful, however due to storm winds, we could not do anything on the second day.

Disembarkation

Would have given this 2 stars, because we were delayed due to mechanical problems with the ship. The third star was for the captain, because he properly communicated the issue to the passengers.
