Review summary

Bermuda is definitely worth the trip. Get out and explore the islands. Don’t just go to St. George’s which is where the NCL free ferry takes you. Spend the money on the public transportation passes and go see St. David’s Clearwater!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation would go smoother if everyone had printed copies of all their paperwork in their hands when they get to security! After security, embarkation was a breeze.

Entertainment

We mostly just watch musicians in the evening. Hands down, the best was the Dominican Republic band that often played in the Mojito Bar. The second best was the Twilights Duo. Others were average at best.

Staff are trying their best to take care of you.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean, but I didn’t see the constant cleaning of common areas like I have recently on Royal Caribbean and Carnival ships. This was notable to me and I even mentioned it to my husband. So if you are a germ freak or concerned about COVID (I am neither) I would consider another Cruiseline or bring lots of disinfectant.

Cabin / Stateroom

Standard balcony room. Nothing special.

Bermuda is gorgeous! Go to the info booth at the port and buy yourself the public transportation pass for two days. It cost about $65 for two of us. This gets you unlimited bus and ferry rides for 2 days. Well worth it! One of the days take the ferry to St. George’s then take the #6 bus to St. David’s. Tell the driver you want to get off at Clearwater. THE BEST PART OF BERMUDA is Clearwater and the Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve. Take water, snacks, towels and your bathing suits. You can spend the entire day or just a couple hours. It is up to you. The bus will return each hour (on the hour, but often late, so don’t panic!) Wednesday evenings during summer is the Harbor Nights Festival at 7pm on Front Street in Hamilton. This is worth a stop if you are in on a Wed. Evening. When you are finished you can hop on the ferry to go back to the port

New York, New York

Beautiful skyline as you sail in and out. But NYC is not my favorite place. I find the people pretty rude and not very patient.

Not sure why we stopped here. We went to Grain which is a rooftop bar about 2 blocks from the port. Had a few drinks and appetizers, which were very good. Cool place with a great view.

Disembarkation

Very smooth and organized.
