Norwegian Jewel

7 Night Alaska Sawyer Glacier (Seattle Roundtrip)

Sail date: July 18, 2015

Ship: Norwegian Jewel

Cabin type: Suite

Traveled as: Large Group

Review summary

I booked 2 cabins for 6 individuals and 3 were left at Seattle without the ability to disembark due to not informing me or my guests that they needed a Canadian visa. Norwegian was helpful through the process but acted like they didn't even know why I spent about 7k on this trip. Once again I would not recommend ever booking a cruise through

You only need a passport for Canada. Not a Visa. Have fun.

Do you mean a passport? I don't think Canada requires a visa? if you were in Seattle and not in a Canadian port, I do not understand why. A travel agent told me never to book a cruise thru a site because of the lack of information. please advise because we have passports but not Visas and we leave from Seattle. Thank you.

yeah, once they get your money their done with you. we used Hotwire for a cruise once, our cruise was late getting back to disembark because we had 2 medical evacs at sea and we missed our flight. I called Hotwire and they were no help at all. We ended up sitting at the airport for 6 hours and had to use miles and pay to change our flights. Note we always book through these Cruise line direct. And never book too early of a flight. Never before noon just in case of unforeseen instances like this.
