"THE UGLY,' "THE BAD,' "THE GOOD," and "THE EXCELLENT"

Review summary

I would like to say this cruise was "The Ugly, The Bad, The Good and The Excellent."

"The Ugly":  a.  stateroom was tiny and toilet was in a closet smaller than Airplane bathrooms!!

                    b.  announcer in the casino had a heavily-accented screeching voice.  (I asked the

                         2 mgrs to please get her to stop screaming, but to no avail.  They were not at

                          all personable.)

"The Bad":   a.  Food wasn't consistently  good.  At breakfast "traditional buttermilk pancakes"

                         consisted of 2 quarter-sized "pancakes" with a cherry on top.  Grilled mahi-

                          mahi was 2 fish-stick like pieces of fish on a huge bed of greens.  Fries

                          always came in a 2-cup size.

                      b.  Although I use a walker, no one offered to help me get my food in the Garden

                           Cafe.

                       c.  The staff in the shops next to the Tsar's Palace were very snooty and

                             seemed only interested in visiting/flirting with each other and not helping

                             the potential customers.

"The Good":   a.  Otherwise, very friendly staff.  Kudos to Mary Jane in the Garden Cafe,

                             Kendele in Asura,  our room steward (4588), Cherry in Tsar's Palace,

                             and Alexandra  on the cruise staff.

                        b.   Baked breads and muffins were very light and fresh.

"Tne Excellent":  The Cirque performances.  MARVELOUS!!
