Nice ambiance and good wait staff. We ate breakfast and dinner there and we were generally pleased. The only dish I was not impressed with for breakfast was the biscuits and sausage gravy which was in fact a biscuit with a mere drizzle of gravy on the plate. Dinner entrees were quite pleasing. Nice views of the water from this venue.

Very slow service. We waited for over an hour for our entree while watching people seated next to us who came in 30 minutes after us already finish their entrees . We almost had to chase someone down to get water refills while waiting our hour. We made mention of our concerns to the waiter and his only reply was they only have one kitchen for two dining rooms. It has been that way since they built the ship I believe but doesn't answer why one table is served so quickly while others wait an inordinate time for the same basic meal.

We ate there a few times. The sausage sliders were tasty Ruben sandwich was also a good choice. Overall nice ambiance.

Very nice meal. Service was exceptional and the food was very good. Highly recommend for a nice dinner.

Overall the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone seems to be quick with a smile and friendly hello. John and Rackman in the Sugarcane Mojito Bar were very good. Our room steward Romil Erasmo was very attentive to our needs the entire cruise

Ship Quality

Very easy layout of the ship. Rooms were nice and quiet as compared to some other cruises we have been on. My only complaint would be handicapped access to the Grand Pacific dining room is only accessible via one elevator at the aft of the ship. A card reader was there to call the one elevator but it never seemed to work properly which meant having to take an elevator to deck seven and then change to the elevator to deck six

Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable and quiet cabin. Everything worked as it should.

Ship tip

Avoid Alizar dining room. Service was not up to par as compared to the Grand Pacific

Very easy. We were in line early and once they got clearance we simply stopped for facial recognition on the ship and we were on our way and back to our car in nothing flat

Reviews are subjective...the review just before yours on the same ship was not too good. It proves to say to read ALL reviews and then make up your own mind. Tks for sharing

Thanks for sharing. The mostly favorable recent comments about the Jade makes me feel real good about my plans to board for the January 27th sailing, whether I'm a stowaway or not.
