This cruise was my first cruise, and it was everything and more I was hoping it would be. Hands down the most fun I have ever had. Ship, ports, staff was incredible! Our group started with 5, ages 20-34, and we met some people along the way that we hung out with the whole cruise!

This is the first cruise I had been on, I did not realize I needed to grab a number sign when waiting to embark so we sat around for an extra 30mins or so. More signage/attentive attendants would have been helpful, but bottom line it was my fault.

Food and Dining

Buffet was awesome, quality food and variety day to day. Did not have that "buffet" taste you get at low end buffets. My group went to several of the specialty restaurants, and while they were very good, I think I would just go to the buffet every meal! The only restaurant that was lacking I thought was O'Shaughnessy, but to be fair, it's 24hrs and we went at odd times, so I was happy for what I got. Over all I was very impressed with the food on this ship, fantastic!
Onboard Activities

Pools were smaller than I expected, and usually crowded, but my group of 7 found time were we could be in them comfortably.
Hot tubs were the same story but the trick is to just use them at times when others are getting ready for dinner.
One note on the hot tubs, depending on wind direction, soot from the smoke stacks can bead up and float on the top of the water in the tubs, this will get on your swim wear and permanently stain it!
The clubs were awesome! We danced til the wee hours every morning!

Awesome lounge, great music, dancing, and drinks. Felt very safe and cleaning in the lounge. Awesome dance parties here!

Ship tip
Positive mental attitude! There will be things on the cruise that you can let ruin your cruise(no deck chairs where you want, not able to get restaurant reservations, crowded pool, etc), don't let this get you down! Find something to be excited about and enjoy yourself
I highly recommend going outside the port area, and renting a golf cart (I think it was $6 for a 6 person cart for the day) and driving around town along the beach. There are numerous spots along the beach to eat and relax, and very affordable. Highly recommend!
