This was a great first cruise experience. The ship is not overwhelming large so it did not take much time to go back to my cabin in between activities.
Embarkation

Easy breezy. You go through the 'airport' security style, then fill out the medical form to document any symptoms you may have, then take it to the counter where your picture is taken for the ship's record and you're given a keycard, then onto the gangway to board Deck 7.

Food and Dining

The Alizar main dining room was good. I was a solo traveler and asked for a table for one. On my 3rd visit I was asked if I wanted to share a table which I happily said yes so I'll keep that in mind in the future to always ask for that so it's easier to meet people.
My buffet favorites: Fish with mustard sauce and Corn on the cob. Continue through the buffet area to reach the outdoor aft dining area for a great view.

I like this ship size. It provides you the opportunity to run into the same people again & again.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin size was bigger than I expected. I was a solo traveler so it exceeded my needs.
Made use of the coffeemaker, very good.
The USB ports on the lights next to the bed made charging my electronics very convenient.
The 3 shelves in the bathroom provided plenty of room to keep everything off the vanity.
Ship tip
Bring only a carry-on & backpack and do laundry in the sink using the ship's bar soap.
Self disembarkation is the best way to go. You're allowed to leave anytime between 6:30a-9:30a. Made much easier since I only packed a carry-on & backpack. I was on deck 10 Forward and the elevator was fast & easy but the stairs to deck 7 would also have been easy.
