Review summary
Being on our first TransAtlantic cruise was exciting. We spent the first few days in ports in Spain and then Portugal, followed by a long series of sea days. The sea days actually went longer than planned due to the storm in Bermuda. The captain wisely decided to go around the storm and stay in calmer waters.
for the most part we loved the cruise. What we didn't like we're some of the changes to NCL's programs and benefits. If you are a latitude person you know that gold and platinum have, in the past, had preference embarkation. This perk has been removed by NCL. Also, the dining package has now been changed to 3 dinners for up to 9 nights at sea and 4 dinners for anything beyond that. Also you are only allowed certain items in the ala carte restaurants.
We would definately recommend this cruise to everyone. It's just nice to know the NCL "cuts" in advance. Wonder what will go away next.
