Review summary

The food was not up to par, very disappointed. Room service coffee price was an outrageous price. We spent 800 dollars for room service coffee for the week! Our room was mile away from the elevator. Entertainment on the boat was not good with the exception of the dueling pianos. We waited in the cold outside for 3 hours waiting to board, some woman even passed out waiting in line.

Haha. In order to have an $800 charge for room service, you would have had to order it 80 times. You sure it wasn’t your gratuities?

There is no way logistically you spent $800 on coffee. That is impossible.

BS! I sail NCL alot! Coffee delivered to your cabin is $5 a day. You did not spend 800 on coffee, period! If you spent that on room service, that's your own fault! You must have shut yourself in and ate 24/7!

Sorry you were not pleased. The Getaway is one of our favorite ships. Did you pick your room location or did the cruise line? When you select your room, you can select a room closer to things you want, such as the elevator.
