Review summary

I was extremely excited to go on this cruise at being my very first cruise ever. Went with a group of friends who have croods numerous times and with Norwegian. All of us including your repeat customers felt that the food was awful, the security and staff did not do what they were supposed to do. They said they've never seen a ship out of control with kids the way they were acting. It was very disheartening to have this as my very first cruise and it'd be a free-for-all. I wanted more activities and music and dancing by the pool, I had a dealing with Norwegian and I was very upset because messed up my gratuities and there was a miscommunication and a lie that had happened and I was not told that I was losing it due to my military discount however the rep lied in her notes. I was told I was only losing a $50 onboard credit due to the cost of the cruise decreasing. Therefore I sent 55 minutes at customer service not being able to hear because of the atrium trying to fix this apparently tell me Norwegian would not reinstate my gratuities because I don't know why and it was nothing but a nightmare. I'm supposedly supposed to get $300 back and I have not heard anything.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was awful, osheenhans was disgusting, teppanyaki and Cagney's was amazing, buffet didn't have much variety. Save food everyday. Dining rooms were not good.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
A lot was closed due to weather, wish their was more bands, music, etc. The atrium was out if control

Entertainment

Loved Syd Norman's pour House!! Not I wish their was more music, bands by the pool. The one that was there was not good. No games were played by the pool.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Dining room staff was not friendly. There were kids running rampant and destroying the 15th and 16th floor, laying in the hallways tripping people, fighting and security and staff did nothing about this! We called security once and complained and they came up to get the kids out of the hallway but this went on the entire seven days, kids in the adult spice20 when they weren't supposed to be, all kids were in the adult hot tubs and security would walk right by them and say nothing unless we complained they made them get out. But they didn't take it upon themselves and handle the situations the entire week. It was one time in 7 days they said something it was not even worth us to complain. However we were very upset that the 16th floor my husband and I got tripped because of the kids playing laying down in the middle of the hallway and they were teenagers.

Ship Quality

The atrium was out of control! Very loud you couldn't talk to customer service and hear bad location not enough seating if you wanted to be involved in something. Our room was dirty when we got in there and there was hair in our shower, belongings from the guests before us under the bed.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
The size was a little small but the cleansiness was disgusting. There was hair in our shower, belongings from the people before us at the end of the bed, I put my towels on the floor one day and the stewardess hung them back up on the rack and did not give me new ones. I know this because my makeup was on them. I was not impressed at all. She never did anything special in our room or left towel animals on our beds nothing!

We got off the ship and saw the island. The process of getting on and off was completely easy. Had no issues in Bermuda or with the staff down there. I was not happy that we only got a day and a half out of 4 days in Bermuda

NEVER go on a cruise during the local schools Spring Break!!! You can check online at least 18 months in advance as to when it is.
