NCL in NYC will not be something we consider in the future without weighing ports we have had no issue with. We've sailed multiple times out of Boston, Cape Liberty and once out of Baltimore and Galveston. This port embark/ disembark, balcony suite and day time entertainment was awful.

There was complete lack of communication regarding where to go. We had the priority access but weren't instructed properly where to be although we told every employee we encountered that we had the priority access.

We had a balcony suite and used the breakfast in the room 3 out of 5 days. We had breakfast in O'Sheehan's and it was good. We got cafe breakfast early the day of disembarkation. We ate at main dining 3 of 5 days O'Sheehan's once and the cafe once. All were good. We ate at specialty dining 4 out of 5 nights and the cafe once. All were good.

Day time entertainment didn't interest us. We have had more interesting themed trivia because of their topic and better venues on other cruise ships. The comedians, dueling pianos and Burn the Floor were very good.

There was an unforeseen sanitary issue in Le Bistro. We were seated for dinner. We ordered and watched a crew member in mask and gloves taking away napkins, table cloth, tableware, pillows, etc in multiple red garbage bags. Someone was sick there just prior to 4 tables of us entering. It could have been managed much better. Please shut down our eating area, clean it up and then seat us. A delay would have been better than us watching it be cleaned up.
Cabin / Stateroom

We booked a club balcony suite. The balcony was laughable. The chair did not recline like we've had on other cruise lines. Our 2 chairs, table and very little room to get on the chairs were awful. The bathroom had 2 sinks and a large shower. We barely had any room to move around the cabin without bumping into each other. Room 13190 is not worth the price of anything beyond a balcony on the same cruise ship. It may be less room than a balcony. It definitely was not a suite compared to other cruise lines. We won't consider this cruise line again for a suite.
Ship tip
Smile, drink with your drink package, enjoy the company you're with and don't book this ship again. As I told complaining people on the cruise, at least this is better than being at work!
Worst disembarkation ever. We were priority access and no announcements were made for any disembarkation. This port entrance with ground staff and port exit with ship staff was awful. We won't consider this cruise line and port again because of it.
