Great cruise over all. Splurged on Spa and Vibe beach club, but both well worth the extra cost if you can do it. I would definatly cruise the Getaway again. Had a blast....

Food was excellent. The specialty dinning was exceptional (Cagney's and Le Bistro). The food in the main dining was also very good, great seletion every night. I did not go to the Garden Cafe (buffett).
Onboard Activities

We had the thermal spa package, went every day. I highly suggest getting the package or going with a Spa Balcony which includes the spa package. The Thermal Spa's on the Breakaway class ships are amazing with a Large heated thermal pool, hot tub, salt room, 2 sauna's steam room and ceramic heated loungers not to mention the view as it is in the front of the ship with large windows all around front and sides. We also bought passes to the Vibe Beach club. Vibe is an adults only area, (not the only adults only area, Spice H2O is also adults and is free). Vibe is nice as they limit the amount of passes, very private, no crowds, bar service is excellent and the lounge chairs are cushioned.
Entertainment

Top notch entertainment. The Getaway has Million Dollar Quartet. It was a great show with amazing music. I suggest you book online before getting on the ship. Also Syd Normans Pour House has great bands. There was a Forigner tribute band that played several nights. They were awesome if you were a Forigner fan. I suggest getting to Syd Normans at least 45 min. before show starts as it is a small venue and fills up fast.

Cabin was nice. We had a spa balcony. our balcony was a little larger due to the location and was at the push out point on deck 14. See deck plans and room number and you will understand.
Arrived 2 days before cruise, stayed at the Andrew Jackson Hotel in the French Quarter. Nice historic hotel. A little older but clean and staff is excellent. It is not on a noisy street.
Always enjoy Cozumel. Went to Mr. Sanchos which is not a cruise line excursion, but by far one of the best excurisons in Cozumel. Highly recommend. Easy taxi ride to beach club, taxi's always available so no need to worry about return trip to port. $17 each way.
