Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about theft on the Getaway.

Sounds like some one woke up on the wrong side of the cruise. You could just say "cruising is not for me". In this day and age who packs medication, and if you have a condition, why didn't you have travel insurance. It's only $50-80 per couple. I am an NCL super fan, but the poster is right about the small pools and April is a bad month to cruise because of the kids on spring break, great for families bad if you don't want to be around so many kids. 97% of the times they were ok, but they are every where in this month. It sounds like you could use a nice deserted island on your next vacation, oh and don't forget to place your meds in your carry on.

I think this is a fake review

Lol too many children on the ship. No pool? I also don’t think anyone would steal your medication. Unless you put pain medicines in your luggage which anyone would know those don’t go in your checked bag. If you have to have that medicine you need to keep it on your person. Sorry you had to go to the ER though. That is never fun.

Sorry to hear. We both have to travel with medication but we never put it into our checked luggage it always goes in our carry on luggage rather we are flying or cruising
