Ropes course was great. We got on board early so we could get the Vibe Beach Club tickets. This was the absolute best thing ever. As you can see from my other reviews we have travel as a couple and sometimes we travel with friends. It is difficult to find sun loungers on the pool deck and sometimes it can take a little bit of time to get a drink. After all this is a big ship. Well, if you want a place that is kind of exclusive, 18 years and older, semi private sun loungers, semi private hot tub, full bar, bath/changing room, bar tender and server. Now by semi private I mean only 30 or so passes are sold for each sailing, first come first serve. This is the closes thing I will ever get to staying in the Heaven. Worth every penny!
Vibe Beach Club

5 Stars is not enough. We found ourselves spending a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub and lounging around with our friends. our own bar and bar tender and No crowds. what a great way to relax.

Fun for all that dare. Remember to wear closed toed shoes and shirt with sleeves and no jewelry ( that includes watches). And walk the plank... it's awesome!!

The staff is always very good on NCL. That being said, this was the first time we had ever seen a few crew members having a tough time. It was a bit heart breaking to think that cruise ship staff work so hard Everyday away from family and friends. It has got to be difficult to be away from family during the holidays. This staff, No All of the staff on All of the cruise lines deserve our thanks for everything they do to make sure We all have fun on our vacations.

This class of ship is set up nicely. Having most of the common areas restaurants, bars, shops, casino, art gallery and theater on three decks makes The 678 feel like you are going to a entertainment district. It's brilliant!!
Cabin / Stateroom

Nice and dark. Not far from the elevators. The blanket was a bit wornout and the hair dryer started to burnup the first time my wife turned it on. But fortunatly, I had a damp towle and covered it quickly so the smoke detector didn't activate. The room stuwart and safety staff were very greatful that I covered it so quickly. An alarm would have been a very big deal as it should be. My friend that was sailing with us in the next cabin said " typical firemen, always trying to be a hero" he's such a goofball. So yeah Great cabin, and the new hair dryer worked very well. LOL
Ship tip
Be sure to thank the staff at every oprotunity. If you haven't tryed the Vibe Beach Club your missing out.
This cruise was goning to the western Carribean so our second port was NCL's Harvest Caye. It was our frist time in this port and it was amazing. The pool, the beach, the butterfly garden. What a Great place!
This cruise was goning to the western Carribean our third port was Costa Maya. This was our first time in this port so we just explored the port area and did some shopping. It was nice.
Ahh, Cozumel. Our second time in port and again a wonderful time. We did the Discover Mexico tour. We booked this excursion for the chocolate making and the tequila tasting, I was so much more than that. We met our guide (Carlos "Bou" Bouza) and started a jurney in to a beautiful world. A quick 5 minute film then a museum. Next Chocolate making the oldfation way, by hand. So much fun. The we had our first drink of the day, a chocolate martini. Then next was the outdoor Dioramic Garden. Scaled down modles of early life in Mexico. Then it was lunch time. A Mexican Taco Buffet!! Oh my did I eat. We did a little shopping and then we had the privilege of watching the Papantla Flyers. Amazing and very brave men performing an ancient aerial display. Then it was time for Tequila. Now I'm not a big tequila drinker, however I did learn that I had been doing it wrong. After the class we all received a Tequila Aficionado certificate from Discover Mexico Park and Jose Cuervo. What an epic time. I can not wait for my next trip to Cozumel.
