Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but some helpful details would have been good. How can friendly staff and horrible ship both warrant 3 stars? Does ‘not great enough’ mean it was at least a little bit great?

Wow!! So, in other words, you hated everything about this cruise. Boston is my hometown and it is so much more than great enough.

We have been on the Gem several times and enjoyed it. We took our 4 boys and they had a great time.

If you had done your research, you would have known that the Gem does not have all the bells and whistles of the newer ships. It is generally an adult ship.
