Review summary

We've booked this trip to spend some quality time with the family and it was a very good decision. The ports were accessible, the weather was nice, the food and drinks were very good and quite lots of things to do on the ship. Really enjoyed my time on Norwegian Gem.

Not as elegant as the other main dining room, but it's nice.

Amazing sushi, amazing service. The cocktails were better of Norwegian Sun, here were a lot sweeter.

Amazing live music, The Ice Bucket band was amazing since were singing mostly rock. But also the latino band was super good.

I was really surprised by the design and layout of the ship. I really liked there are a lot of spaces for different interests (watching a movie, watching sports, listening to live music, just having a drink, etc). Comparing to Sun ship we can see the improvement done in jsut a couple of years.

It was the smallest room we ever stayed in, but it was clean and cozy.

My best cruise so far was in the Gem, in Fall 2021. Great atmosphere, special regards to the atrium bar, and Casper and his staff goes the extra mile to have people entertained.
