Review summary

We decided this was our last cruise out of New York City in January. Too many bad days weather wise we will be flying in the Florida in the future south.

Unless you're taking an excursion there's nothing to do in the port. There's no shopping there's no little stores there's nothing. We were going to rent a car but the rental companies close too early for us to return the car since we were in Port later

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

The government refused us admittance to the port so we just floated around the ocean. Boring. o we just floated around the ocean

If you cruise from north in winter, need to take spa package and stay indoors for indoor pool, etc. It is more expensive and possible dangerous because of virus to fly now.

Thanks for the review. Winter can be a challenge in the NE. We still enjoy driving to port even if the weather gets a tad cranky.

Thank you for sharing your cruising experience.

Thanks for the review. I never understand why people cruise from New York / Baltimore in the winter, then seem surprised that the weather is cold the first and last two days of the cruise.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. We live in the snowy part of az. Also looking for warmer weather.

Appreciate your feedback. Being from Colorado, I understand Winter, which is why we like to sail to the Caribbean during this time. Sorry you had poor weather.
