Review summary

Going to try a royal Caribbean next. This was the most disappointing NCL cruise. Ps they don’t even serve beer buckets or 16 oz beers anymore. They are trying to force the package on everyone and make it sound like a deal when it really is not.

Food and Dining

My chicken sandwich was raw the second night. No prime rib offered in the main dining rooms anymore. No seafood night anymore. No chocolate night anymore. I had a lot of good food but we have been on several cruises with NCL and this was by far the most disappointing.

Onboard Activities

They really have jacked the prices up so high on everything from bingo cards to deal or no deal cards and practically every special event is $20+ per person.

Entertainment

The acrobat show was great. The musicals were boring. The magican was someone you would hire for your 7 year olds birthday party. Again, out of all the entertainment on previous NCL ships this was the worst.

Service and Staff

Always very friendly and happy. However main dining room service and moderno service was terrible. Very surprised.

Ship Quality

The spinnaker on this ship is awesome and the great outdoors cafe area is a cool touch. Other than that the dawn has such a better layout. Atrium on this ship seems squished. It’s hard to get around sometimes because both sides don’t always allow you too.
