Review summary

Meeting new people and getting together after the cruise. Security HAS TO ENFORCE THE POOL RULE. I did speak to someone and they just shook their head at me. I think Security were the rudest on the ship. Overall my husband and i met some awesome couples and had a great time. Will be on her again in August

I cruised the Gem in May and was very frustrated with the chair situation. I would get up at 7:30am to find towels on almost all the chairs by the pools. I watched MANY stay unused for the majority of the day. One woman "claimed" a chair so it would be there when she got back from her shore excursion....

We had a similar issue with chair hogs on the Escape last year. While I agree with you the crew should really enforce the rules, I am sure they are afraid of pissing off the passengers that do hog. In my humble opinion it is the inconsiderate passengers that are truly to blame.
