Review summary
This was my first cruise experience. I booked a 7 day cruise and unfortunately I only lasted 2 days. I was very seasick and I was forced to leave the ship at the first port. I also had taken out travelers insurance just in case anything went wrong. Norwegian never told me to see a Doc before I get off the ship so I would be compensated for the $1300 I had spent. When I contacted the insurance company they told me to ask Norwegian to write a letter on my behalf to back up my story. Guess what? Norwegian refused to write a letter and support me. I also called them numerous times and they would leave me on hold sometimes for 30min! They have no loyalty and did nothing to help me to get my money back from the insurance company. All I wanted was a letter backing up that I was too sick to continue the cruise and they could not even do that. Shame on you Norwegaian. I expect more from your company and I am bitter to them for not helping someone who paid 7 days for a cruise that lasted 2 days. Furthermore when I was leaving the ship they should have notified me to see a MD if I intended to be compensated for my trip with the travelers insurance.Embarkation
