Review summary

NCL is my favorite cruise line. Love the free style dining which allows you to plan your day as you choose. If you take an NCL your almost guaranteed to have a great time with plenty to do. I also did the thermal spa, which was $186 per person for the whole week. This gives unlimited access to hot stone chairs and a variety of whirlpools, hot tubs which are never crowded. The regular hot tubs are always crowded especially with kids so I think this was worth it since I used it every day. Peaceful and relaxing. NCL staff were amazing. Loved Ferdie, the cruise director-so funny! Passangers were also happy and friendly. I didn't think the Gem was as nice as the Breakawayl

Buffet always had plenty of selection but sometimes food wasn't warm enough by the time we found a seat. The crepes were delicious and my overall favorite. O'Sheenans is always open and great selection ofpub food.

Game shows, line dancing, scavenger hunts and trivia and other activities were fun. Thought too many activities required additional fees like some game shows, wine tasting...

Everyone was extremely nice helpful and friendly - always smiling. Our cabin steward was the best, always greeted us by name and asked if we needed anything further.
