Review summary
We returned on June 10 from a cruise to Port Canaveral and the Bahamas. We are "young" seniors but my husband has a lung problem so must carry oxygen all the time. I cannot say enough about the ship, the staff everything!
We had cruised before on carnival and they seem to cater to a younger crowd. NCL had an older crowd which was fine.
Positives--practically everything.--especially the casual tpur in Nassau with Vance! the Broadway quality shows and the great director and Enver!!
Negatives--the pool. It is very disconcerting that you practically have to camp out overnight to get a spot anywhere near the pool and people save rows of seats for hours. It was also very disappointingly small and if you are under 5 foot 1 as I am a real hassle to get in and out of the pool.
--I was disappointed to find that there was no Catholic Mass available on the Sunday and it was a special day--Pentecost.
--The stop in Florida was a total waste of time and money. You were not there long enough to do anything and in our case it rained so we just took a shuttle to CoCoa Beach town for $19. The shuttle people were terribly disorganized and did not help at all.
--The prices on the ship of "duty" free items such as liquor were no great bargain.
--It was difficult to find inexpensive souvenirs on the ship for family and friends and the people in the shop that sold cigarettes and liquor especially rude.
--The fact that I had to pay extra for demitasse and there was no anisette!
On the whole I would say great great great so much so I am ready for another NCL cruise next year God willing to another destination!

Ship tip
As cliche as it may seem the buffet on deck 12 still the best! Get to the pool area early. Don't try to get everything in--choose wisely. The menus in both dining rooms the same so save yourself the hassle and just go to the one with the shortest wait time--but the Pacific is prettier!
