Review summary

This was our 1st vacation in 21 years. We have never gone anyplace and we decided to go on a cruise. Reading all the reviews we decided on the Gem. The food , entertainment , and Staff were amazing. We are now ready to book another and will make Norwegian our go to Cruise ship.

They were all amazing !!! Mark always had a smile !!!! Enver was the BEST !!!!!! Always made us smile and laugh !!!

If you are making NCL your go to..... I recommend exploring picking up a couple CruiseNext Certificates on your next trip. - can only purchase on board - good for 4 years - completely transferrable (no fee) - allowed to use 2 certificates if used to book a trip 6 months in advance (this is a recent change to the program..... before it was only 1 and maybe 2 if a promo was running) - each certificate is valued at $250 but you receive immediate OBC for the present cruise (buy 1 and get $100 OBC, buy 2, 3 or 4 and get $125 OBC per certificate) ..... so for example, I purchased 2 certificates for a total value of $500 and received an immediate OBC of $250 (net cost is $250).... I book a cruise for a year from now, I can use 2 certificates as my deposit equaling $500
