Review summary

I think it would be our first and last Canada cruise.

It might be even last cruise with Norwegian at all.

My husband and I were not very happy with that roundtrip.

Food was not so good, performances were not good as usually.

Tours are too expencive.

Going on 9/24 to Canada. Went cheap with inside room, but have friends across the hall with Suites, and balcony. Cost $2,000 that includes all gratuities, unlimited drink package for two and Four dinners for two in specialty restaurants. If each of us only had 4 drinks a day, that comes to $80 x 7 $560, then four upscale meals with tips $35 each $70. X 4 $280. That alone is $840 of the $2,000. Where can anyone go for 7 days, have a room, eat whenever you want, have professional entertainment all week for $83 a person per day? My room in NY was $250 a night, just to sleep.

The first cruise I took in 2004 cost 2400.00 plus tips, plus drinks plus tours. This Cruise I am doing on Gem, will be about 3000.00

Cruised with the Gem in July and had a blast! Food was amazing and crew even more so. First time we pre-booked future cruises while still on the ship! Love Norwegian!
