Review summary

I always felt NCL was the best cruise line but this trip was very disappointing. 7 of us paid almost $1500 to take an excursion to Disney World, we got there over 2 1/2 hours late and we had time for 2 rides and then had to leave. Not worth the money. Rushed back to the ship to find out we would not be leaving port until 1 am due to a seal leak and we would not have our day at the private island. On top of that staff did not show up to run some activities and we waited an hour between appetizers and our entree, I will think twice before I book another Norwegian Cruise.

Just got back from this cruise.  We were on time to Port Canaveral and we rented a car and bought our own tickets to Epcot. (Much cheaper than going with cruise)  Had about 5.5 hours enjoying the Flower & Garden Festival. I would have liked an additional 2 hours there. The ship did not go to Great Stirrup Cay due to maintenance and apparently this has been on going and will continue for the next few cruises.  Very disappointed!

Stay away from Orlando during cruises. Not worth the money. Coco Beach was awesy

Guess it's not because I am a local- I simply don't understand how and why the cruiselines push Disney and Universal excursions when there simply is NOT TIME. It saddens me to think that a family's first experience with WDW will most certainly be most less than magical. Really, if you WANT to incorporate the Happiest Place on Earth into your cruise plans, use DCL and go at the back end.

Hope the glitches are fixed, we're leaving on Gem tomorrow!

They seem to be fixing issues a little each leg. Wonder why this was not addressed in dry dock? I too hope it is fixed well and soon. A little disturbing to have a ship with engine and hull issues!

I was on the gem last week. Same problem, late to port Canaveral. We were rushed through Kennedy Space Center. Then we didn't leave port until 2 am We missed private island. They did reimburse our cabana money and gave us a 50 dollar stateroom credit. I just wish Norwegian would've paid for a local diver instead of waiting for a Miami diver to finally show. I can't believe the very next cruise experienced the exact same disappointment myself and my family experienced. Shame on you Norwegian.

Oh no. I'm going in the Gem in 24 days I hope all the ships problems are fixed. Hopefully the will make up for losing out on there private island.

A few hours at Disney is just a tease to me. I wouldn't waste a day doing that. I'd just rather visit Cocoa Beach or do Kennedy Space Center

Disney seams like its a little too much to try to do in the time your in port.

I've heard renting a car and doing it yourself is cheaper and faster but Disney tickets are never cheap same thing goes for universal and universal has even longer wait times for rides in peak season
