Review summary
I usually sail with Princess and was apprehensive about traveling on Norwegian. I was very happy with the cruise. Service was very good. We ate in the Grand Pacific every night and had the same server, Jingle, who was excellent. Enough choices on the menu every night. The pool area gets very crowded and the pools were standing room only on some days. They really need another pool. The last day we found the quiet area forward on Deck 14. The productions were good but disappointed in Second City. Have seen them in Chicago and was looking forward to it but not very funny except for the last night that was an adults only show. We stayed on the ship in Cape Canaveral. Stirrup Cay was very nice. Not happy with the excursion to Blue Lagoon Island. Not enough chairs. Since tickets are sold for this excursion they know how many people will be there. I asked staff for chairs and was told twice I just have to look for them. Also, the water is very shallow. Forget about swimming. Wading is all you can do. Enjoyed the Trivia games everyday except for being adjacent to the cigar bar. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.
