Review summary

Not impressed, expected so much more. The spa was a rip off. You expect to pay more because of where you are but there are so many hidden charges that it doubles the listed price. The specialty restaurants that charge you, their food is dinner quality, the buffet is actually better and included on your cruise price

i to was on the gem leaving on jan, 27th, our 2nd on the gem. only because we were sick of the hassel of flying. now about the ship mdr was just ok, buffet was bad except in am but to get a seat was a bad day a black rock. state room was clean but wearing pretty bad service was very good in stateroom made great animals. smoking was real bad, played poker in casino and smoke followed me to my cabin on hair and shirt. this was our 21st cruise 10 on celebrity THE BEST i guess we will have to bite the bullet and fly again we ate in all extra resturants just fair meat in stake house was hard to chew pretty poor, tapanaki was good but again beef was poor.get chicken and lobster. the rest was just ok. getting on and off the ship was reall bad so enjoy..
