The ship itself was beautiful. The rooms were very nice (we were on the 5th floor with a pretty large window). We felt like we had enough space in the room to live comfortably for 7 days. The buffet needed a little work- we got kind of tired of the same food everyday, but the variety of specialty places to eat were wonderful! We felt there were too many children/teenagers on board, because we are a young couple without kids, but it really is a great family atmosphere.

Buffet was sort of boring since it was the same everyday, but the speciality places to eat were amazing

We loved our room. The large window really helped.

This port was kind of far from everything we wanted to do or see. We had to take a lot of public transportation, but there was a 3 day ferry/bus pass that we bought which was good.
Don't Miss: Not exactly at this port, but I would recommend a bus ride to HorseShoe Bay Beach and a ferry ride to the Crystal Caves.

Pros: Never a boring moment- always something to do on the ship

Cons: It was more of a family (lots of children) atmosphere- and we went as a twenty-something young couple with no kids

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!
