Review summary
We had a good time but there were so many kids/teens that ran around the ship. The menus in main dining room were okay but not great variety because they want you to pay extra for the "specialty" restaurants. Cagneys Steakhouse was worth the money we paid. Excellent food and excellent service. Our room was kept tidy for us but room steward was not very friendly. The tender process for Great Stirrup Cay was atrocious and absolute chaos. This could prevent me from leaving the ship at hat port in the future. They are working on expanding the island which wll be nice when it is done. Not one of the better private islands. Disembarkation and embarkation was quick and easy. Overall for the money we paid, we had a good time. The Gem is getting run down and they could do a better job keeping the public bathrooms and general public areas clean.Ship experiences
