Review summary

A new ship is always so clean, plus this gave you a feeling of spaciousness too. I had a inside room, 1st time in a long time, but it was a 2 day trip to nowhere, so figured it was ok. Well, it was really very ok, and the bathroom was roomy too. Shower stayed warm on this cold weekend. Fluffy winter blankets were on the beds. Personnel were helpful when needed.

Pros: It's a ship that you can find your way around easily. It has beautifully appointed rooms, the 12 restaurants serve wonderful food, the entertainment was great, the atrium design is beautiful. I also liked the way the 3 main bars were grouped together on the 6th floor. Lot's of people gather there.

Cons: Lovely flat screen TV's, but only in house info available. No local TV channels, and movies are payable.

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!
