Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Breakfast buffet was the same food each and every day. Zero variety. You could go to one g the restaurants if you wanted eggs Benedict but then rest was same as buffet.

Onboard Activities

Ship had so many people onboard unless you went to where the show was going to be and got a seat an hour before. Your chance f seeing a show were slim to none. Be sure to reserve shows you can as soon as you get on the ship. Choir of man fills up super fast

The large theater is like old school movie theater. Tiny seats and super close together

We had a handicap room, and it was great. Watch out for the automatic door. I dropped my key and bent over to get it. Automatic door closed and pushed me into hallway lol

Ship tip

If you want to lay in the sun be sure to ho super early to get yourself a lounge chair. People were standing around and as soon as the crew laid out the chairs people were claiming them. We were only able to get a chair when we were in Port and people were off the ship

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

We took a taxi to 7 mile Beach. $6 per person each way. Best beach ever!!! Water is crystal clear. I do recommend going to either side as the middle where chairs are is super packed and water is so full of people but on the side you can swim without hitting anyone

Cozumel, Mexico

We did the stingray/ snorkel excursion. It was amazing. Our guide Pedro was great. I do recommend taking your own snorkel if you have most people on our trip the snorkels or masks leaked

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Didn't feel safe. Port is absolutely horrible. As soon as you get off the ship if you are not doing an excursion and decide to walk to the public beach be prepared to be hounded by taxi drivers and people offering drugs.

Just to add a few things. We did make which ever reservations we could as soon as we boarded. We did shows and tenders. Reservations either were cancelled or removed not by us. We had reservations on the first tender off in Caymen. Which mysteriously disappeared and then we isn't get a new one till tender 19. Same with shows. So we did make them but system knocked them out.

Online when you are looking at your things with Norwegian cruise line, you have to make reservations for these big shows. That's what we did. We pick the time that we wanted to see and made it easier. Don't wait for the last minute going forward. These ships do have a lot of people you have to expect that and it's very difficult to get a seat in the atrium because that's where everything happens with all these games that they're doing like trivia. So next time like I said going forward make arrangements online when you are doing your things about any cruise line you want to be in the showroom to see it
