Review summary

Overall I would say this was a great cruise. The sailing was by far the smoothest I have ever had. The food was very good and I love the your time dining. The ship was lovely. The shops sucked, could definitely improve in that area

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth, one of the easiest embarkations I've had

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good, bartenders were pretty quick to get you your drink order

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't do any activities as I was traveling with a handicapped person

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Motown Motivation was the only show I saw thw whole thing of and it was pretty good.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff couldn't have been nicer

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean. I did have to keep refering to the maps, never could seem to get my bearings

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
For a suite, this was the smallest I've ever had this was more like a balcony room. I booked based on the description that it would have a tub (my sister takes baths), no tub though it had a very nice shower. It was ok, but for what I paid I expected more.

Ports of call

New York, New York

2 out of 5
Super crowed, not enough room for drop off and pick up at the terminal. The city is awesome to see and our Uber driver from the hotel to the pier was nice enough to point out the highlights to us

Portland, Maine

4 out of 5
Quaint town, lots of walking. No handicapped accessible shops (old buildings). Great restaurants, nice port

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Beautiful port, large variety of shops, restaurants. Lots of walking (uphill), not handicapped accessible. Will definitely be going back in my RV though so I can spend more time

Saint John, New Brunswick

3 out of 5
Pretty industrial, not much I cared to see

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Very pretty port, lots to see including the cemetary with Titanic victims. Interesting history

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth, fairly organized

Thanks for your review. I agree the " Club Balcony Suite" is misnamed, and many people get mislead. It is a balcony with a better shower.
