Review summary

I was promised a $100 resort for a day credit when I booked through . No resorts were available for my itinerary and when I called, neither NCL nor would take responsibility. What an extremely poor PR move for NCL and ….all for the sake of a mere $100!

Embarkation

The Covid testing was very poorly handled. Huge traffic jam just to get to drop off point. Overcrowded tents to wait for testing results. If results had not been received after 45 min then guests were permitted to go ahead and get on the ship. I got my results after I had gotten in the ship. Nonsense!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Steak and ribs in buffet line were dried out and tough.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool. Sunning. Very crowded and not enough deck chairs due to people pre-saving them and not really using them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was excellent and staff was very friendly

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship needed a big lounge just for viewing while sailing or in port…..like the Encore has!

Cabin / Stateroom

Excellent

Ship tip

Lo Shops did not open until 10 am…..two hours after we could get off the ship

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Tender situation was extremely disorganized. Three hours after arrival nobody had gotten off the ship yet. Lines were insane so I gave up even trying to get off the boat as I certainly did not want to go through same chaos trying to get back on the ship. Others were saying the same thing. NCL merely blamed it on social distancing and did not accept any blame for mismanagement and lack of preplanning.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Good. No issues
