Review summary

We went on this cruise with another couple. Sailing inside rooms as we tend to spend more time in the spa and common areas than our room. For Bermuda, I think the inside cabin is an amazing bang for your buck. We had a great location on the 8th floor - this allowed for us to really take advantage of the waterfront all day long. Peaceful couches to play cards or read a book, have your coffee, or and evening glass of wine. Cannot say enough how much I love this space away from the top decks and pools where you can enjoy the water and views. We also really love the access to all the bars and restaurants on 8. __The thermal spa is our favorite - definitely recommend pre-booking a pass or booking in a spa balcony so it is included. I often would take a full shower in the spa locker room, do my hair, and head to dinner - HOW RELAXING! __Our biggest advice is to prepare. Even just familiarizing yourself with the overall layout of the ship is a great help to not feel so overwhelmed when on a larger ship. Prioritize what you'd like to see and do, then review the daily activities in the morning or each evening and plan your day. Even if it's just one activity a day. You'll feel better! I promise! Even the "go with the flow" people will enjoy it more!! Perhaps this is because I believe cruise vacations are what you make them - if you go in expecting the world with no prep, you're not going to get the world.

Embarkation

Really this should be 5 stars compared to what I''''ve read others have experienced. It was smooth - took some time but really can''''t complain. Maybe a little over an hour from the time we arrived at the pier to the time we were seated having some lunch. I will say we are from Jersey City and work in NYC, so the general experience of hustle bustle and push and shove is in our everyday life.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We didn''''t get to any specialty dining, but we didn''''t need it. All three dining rooms were lovely - rarely needed the buffet but grabbed a light snack here and there. I highly recommend making the time to sit and enjoy all of your meals unless you''''re running between activities.

Onboard Activities

We love the live music on all of the ships. The show was INCREDIBLE. We usually go to bingo - but haven''''t attended many of the other activities. We are more Thermal Spa people!! Highly recommend the thermal spa pass or spa balcony rooms.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
5 star experience. First time on a larger ship and the show did not disappoint. We booked our shows first thing when boarding (I recommend doing this to ensure you have your reservations set and done before getting settled - it''''s easy to do at the screens by the elevators).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Truly - I''''m always impressed. Be kind, you''''ll receive even better service.

Ship tip

Book your shows when you get on board at the elevator screens. We went to Taste (or Savor, can't remember which one) and the elevator screens were easily accessible with no lines. Super easy and made for a relaxing trip knowing we didn't have to worry about our shows and activities getting booked up.

Disembarkation

Standard self-disembarkation. Patience is a virtue here, but no complaints.
