Review summary

Spring break crowd, amazing experience. Lots to do, great party’s. Also plenty of peace can be found. Every single bar and restaurant I went to exceeded my expectations. This ship is phenomenal. Spice H20 is incredibly peaceful during the day, and the party spot between 10-12 pm. Skyline club is so much better then the Social on the bliss it’s not even funny. The Escape knows how to do everything and caters to everyone. Great for peace and quiet, great for fun. NCL Escape is the epitome of what NCL is all about and reinforces with every fiber of why we love cruising and why we choose NcL. They are the best and the Escape and it’s staff are second to none.

Embarkation

I was lucky, got on for lunch at noon. Others waited hours upon hours to board. Some people boarded after 5pm and after the muster drill! Had no impact on me though. The ship was late coming into Miami and my guess is it backed things up. I was first in line so got lucky and only waited an hour.

Entertainment

The nightlife on this cruise was insane. Multiple venues going late into the night. Party’s at spice and skyline were phenomenal and one of the many things that make the Escape special to me. Those are 2 great venues to party at. The crowd was great and the DJ was awesome. Jackie Tang was a phenomenal cruise director.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
NCL staff is excellent everywhere I’ve been and Escapes staff is top notch.

Ship Quality

Washy washy. Super clean everywhere. Rowan saves us from germs. Happy happy.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great cabin, great neighbors. Quiet. The connecting door is not an issue. I was worried about it but you really don’t notice it or hear anything from it. I prefer a mini suite but this family balcony cabin was beautiful and filled with serenity. My room steward was definitely new, but she was so sweet and she’s going to be an amazing steward.

Ports of call

Harvest Caye, Belize

Smooth tender, dock still damaged. Pool was closed until 10:30 am, everything on the island is extra money. Regardless this place is a little heaven on earth and I love it. Was definitely sad that the pool was closed from when I arrived around 8:15 until 1030 because that’s literally all I wanted to do that day. Was exhausted from the night before and just wanted a morning swim in that amazing pool. Ended up going back to the ship early on another smooth quick tender ride and enjoying a quiet day on board.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Loved this place. Did the ATv jungle and beach excursion. One of the best excursions I’ve ever done.

Cozumel, Mexico

Love this place. Did the ATv excursion to Jade cavern and had an amazing time. The tour guides and everyone in Cozumel are so friendly and amazing.

Miami, Florida

Hello I was on the same cruise and agree with your comments totally. I've witnessed worse embarkation days and of course better. Staff was attentive for certain.
