This was fun, we were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and hoped this would be a great memory. I must say it was ok not great. A cake was provided to us because of our Anniversary, a discount at the Thermal Suites or Spa would have been nicer.
For our 1st Cruise we are not sure this is for us, maybe destination trips would be better.

The main dinning rooms offered great service and excellent choices with wonderful service. The Specialty restaurants were very nice but quality of food not much better than Main dining rooms. The Beverage package was ok, but offer very limited choices for quality wine within the package.
Onboard Activities

fitness center smelled like an old gym. The pools were overcrowded and noisy. We walked a lot and enjoyed. we went to the shows they were very good as well as the dueling pianos.
Entertainment

The Choir of Men was by far the best but we enjoyed all the music and shows. The Carole King shows were also excellent, as wash the tribute to Neil Diamond.

I had to say good because the ship guest services often had incorrect information, were slow, lacked enjoy staff to handle the crowds. HOWEVER, the room steward was excellent and the Waiters far exceeded my expectations. They were all polite, provided quality service and paid close attention to details.

This room was more comfortable that I expected. It had lots of storage with very large bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The balcony was large enough to relax and have coffee or just enjoy the view.
Ship tip
The Main Dining rooms have Great food and service, go there instead of the buffet.
Had a great trip to Maya Key, so all the rescue animals and the beach area was nice. I did the Snokel along the reef, it was beautiful, saw lots of fish and reef formations. Food was ok.
The ship could not dock at the pier so we had to tender over in rough waters. We decided to forfeit our kayak rentals for the day and stay on the boat. I was looking for to the Lagoon and the opportunity to Kayak the area.
We did not get to stop here, conflicting reports from ship and locals at Costa Maya as to why. We had booked a really unque experience on our that we were looking forward to. Safety 1st however
Thanks for your review. Was there another ship in port at harvest caye that the escape was not able to dock? I’m going in 18 days and I dread tendering.
