it was a very solid, enjoyable cruise. the staff was wonderful, the entertainment terrific, the food excellent, and the ship pleasant. there wasn't good options for the excursions we wanted - either didn't have them or were so much more expensive than the ones we booked ourselves. it would be nice to have a drink package that catered to occasional drinkers rather than only for the frequent ones.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
this was BY FAR the worst embarkation of all the cruises i have taken. it took well over an hour just to get into the building. we were in a line in the hot sun with no shade. once in the building it was unorganized and chaotic. when we booked the cruise we were instructed to choose a check-in time but they were checking everybody in at the same time.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
the food and service in all of the main dining rooms were excellent. the buffet provided wonderful options and also had great food and service.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
should have a "not applicable" option. we didn't participate in any activities other than attend the shows in the theater.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
icredible shows and entertainment in the theater!!! the choir of man was one of the best ever! after midnight was excellent as was the comedians and magician.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
the entire cruise was blessed with incredible staff - personable, friendly, and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
everything was very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
the cabin was very nice. the bathroom was very spacious and the room comfortable. it would be nice if they had regular king or queen beds instead of putting two twins together. as good as the system is there is a channel where the beds are connected that doesn't really provide comfort when two people are trying to sleep together. the balcony wasn't as large as others that i have been on, especially for a mini-suite. the ship notification channel on the tv was never updated after the cozumel stop. it kept referencing cozumel as the last port and roatan as the next one throughout the entire trip.
