Review summary

A day and a half at sea coming and going gave a lot of time to enjoy shipboard activities. I think the cruise was very good (my first on NCL) and my 7th overall. It was a little expensive but a reasonable value for a cruise.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The process and lines in New York were slow and long.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
OMG the food was very good. The Specialty Restaurants were fantastic, Cagney's and Le Bistro.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Weather was bad so a lot of people were sharing onboard resources

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had a great time in the shows and lounges.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Really first class we even added extra tip to a few of the exceptional service staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was very well maintained and pretty new... Loved the the design.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was a little tight to call it a mini-suite. Great location - mid-ship, smooth ride. Similar to a balcony on a Celebrity cruise.

Ship tip

So much to do and so little time -- plan ahead as soon as you get the paper on board.

Ports of call

New York, New York

4 out of 5
Slow processing with the old system, but they promised they were replacing the old system and I would work better. Otherwise, NYC is always fun.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Smooth and efficient. Worth the visit even with the marginal weather.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized and better than embarkation
