Had a wonderful time on the Norwegian Escape. It was amazing ship with a lot of things to do. We loved the food and the service. Bahamas was a great destination. The staff and crew work really hard to take care of you and address your needs. Shows and onboard activities were fun. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be doing more cruises in the future. Great first time experience and now we’re hooked.

Good experience. Organized. There was only a slight delay but overall not bad.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We tried the complimentary dining rooms and we loved all of them. Food was first rate. Service was very good. Almost always got seated right away. The majority of staff were friendly and worked hard to make sure you were taken care off.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were a lot of activities to choose from. We always found something that we liked. Never a dull moment. The rope course was great. It was a little cold so I did not try the water slides but they looked cool. I would have liked to try the hot tubs but they were always full. My wife liked the dance classes a lot and the game shows were fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were very good. All topnotch Broadway quality productions. The comedy shows were funny and I liked the dueling pianos. DJ’s were fun. Did a lot of dancing. We had to book early for some shows because they sell out fast.
Children's Programs
Just me and wife on cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Topnotch and friendly service I would say 95% of the time. Nobody’s perfect but still were very happy with the service. We felt really pampered and taken care of. Staff and crew all worked together to make sure everyone had a wonderful time. Kudos to the cruise director Alvin and his staff for a job well done.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ships layout was good. It’s an amazing ship with a lot of restaurants, venues, bars and outdoor activities. It has a practical and functional design. Very clean, modern and well maintained. Great interior design.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin looked great! Loved the balcony which had a lounge chair a table and 2 other chairs. Great place to watch us leave port and arrive at port or just to sit and enjoy the veiw of the sea. Bed was very comfortable. Cabin and bathroom was spacious. Had a lot of storage space for our clothes and stuff. Elegant and modern design. It was great that there was a small fridge, coffee maker and hairdryer too. Lots of outlets and usb ports. Did not have to use the multiple outlet adapter we brought.
Ship tip
Travel light if possible. Don’t take the first set of elevators when you board. There’s a second set on the other side of the ship that’s less crowded.
Easy port to get to by Uber or taxi. A little harder by subway since closest subway is about 5 loooong blocks away and would be hard for someone with a lot of luggage. There’s so much to do in New York. I live there.
Did not do excursions. Just took the free car rental shuttle to the car rental place then walked over to the Exploration tower. It was ok. Walked around to some of the restaurants. We’ve already been to Cocoa beach before so did not bother. There wasn’t enough time to visit Disney since it was 75 minute drive. There wasn’t much to see unless you rent a car or take a shore excursion.
Everything interesting was nearby. Beautiful white sand beaches with crystal clear waters. A bit pricey on food and souvenirs but want can you expect. Beer was cheaper than than on the cruise ship. Atlantis was awesome. Nice water taxi ride from cruise terminal to Paradise Island. Easy to get around. However there were a lot of people since there were two other cruise ships already docked when we arrived.
