We had a very nice cruise, the Escape is a beautiful ship, everything went well in general, twice they disembarked people who were sick. The fact that there are a lot of people some things are more difficult, like the fact that we have to be booked for shows, if we want to sit in the Atrium it's hard to find good places there, fortunately There were several folding chairs. Looks like some people subscribe to the best seats 😉 But we really enjoyed our cruise, but personally we prefer smaller ships.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
For a big boat there is room, at deck 8 you can walk and there are beautiful big chairs where you can relax, read, chat etc and on deck 17 there is a jogging track. We have always found a place to be quiet.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We only went to the dining rooms included and the buffet and everything was excellent.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were always too many people at the pool, my partner went once and he did the water slides once too, he loved it.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We saw two excellent shows, After Midnight and Vox Fortuna, which was annoying is that we had to book to see the shows, this is the problem of big boats. We did not go to see many shows. Because often there was no room.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the employees are very kind and courteous, they respond quickly to our requests.
Ship Quality

Excellent!
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
We had an inside cabin, very good, very modern, the shower was larger than the ones we are used to in other boats. The only negative is that we were the first cabin at the front of the ship, and at the top of us there was a theater, sometimes we heard noise (not very loud though) and when the ship docked we heard many noises, it woke us up if we were not. We were at 5701.
We were very disappointed, we could not visit this port, because there is no dock the ship could not dock, small boats brought us there, but since there was a very large wind the captain chose not to go, of course we can not criticize his choice, it was our safety, we will suggest that Norwegian invest to build a dock. This is one of their private islands, and the meal was to be offered.
At this port we booked a trip to Bamboo Beach, with meals included, we were treated like royalty, good food and drinks. Beautiful beach, we did not regret our choice.
We had visited Grand Cayman so far, this time we took the Taste of Cayman tour, visited a rum factory, and had a tasting at the same factory. We also had a tasting of Tortuga rum and the famous Tortuga cake. At the end of the tour we went to a beer tasting. It was instructive, although everything is in English, while our language is French, we did not understand everything as it should be.
A little paradise, everything is beautiful, there is even a place where there are animals, we saw a Toucan, a parrot, and also the butterflies Morpho, beautiful! This is a private island of Norwegian, however the meal is not included, there is a restaurant where you can buy something to eat if we wish. We were a little disappointed that the meal was not included as in the other private islands!
In Costa Maya we visited only the shops, we bought pure vanilla at a very good price, we must haggle a little because the price they give us at the beginning is much more expensive.
Very nice place, very busy, we were probably during one of their party "of the dead" there were skeletons everywhere, in all the shops. A lot of animation done by the Mexicans. We walked for a long time visiting the shops at the same time. We had been here before, it brought back good memories.
It's almost always long landing, fortunately one of our group mentioned our color to an employee, he said we could get off, (even if our color had not been announced yet) it did not not been long to go to customs.
