Overall a nice cruise, but one I would not do again on the Norwegian Escape.

The main dining rooms were okay. Specialty restaurants were nothing to write home about. We paid out of pocket for specialty and they were not worth it. Food was mediocre.

Entertainment was great! Try and see the Octaves (an R&B, motown type group). They are AMAZING!
Service and Staff

The wait staff were great. However, our steward was nowhere to be found most of the time which is unusual as they are always front and center on any other cruise we've been on.
Ship Quality

The ship is beautiful and clean! However, I'm surprised there aren't any mid-ship elevators on a ship of that size! There wasn't a reason to pay extra for a mid-ship room when you had to walk to one end of the ship or the other anyway.
Cabin / Stateroom

We took a mid-ship mini-suite with balcony and it is really small. Not worth the extra money. The larger bathroom is really nice, but not worth the extra bucks. Also, I found it odd that there was only one garbage pail in the room for a suite! Strange.
Ship tip
Be prepared for massive crowds; especially at the buffet. Not set up well and total chaos.
When disembarking, they make you walk to the complete front of the ship, get on the platform to walk all the way to the back of the ship and then once inside all the way to the front again. Not fun.
