Review summary

As cruise ships go, the Escape is definitely one of the better ships sailing presently. The only issue I found was that mid ship between decks 6-8 reeked of cigarette smoke from the casino. Unfortunately, this area is the main part of the ship so it couldn’t be avoided. I have young kids and I really disliked the fact that they had to breathe second hand smoke.

I agree. We ate at Le Bistro in the mock al fresco tables and our clothes smelled like cigarettes when we got back to the cabin. Thankfully next day was laundry day.

I have to agree, I don’t smoke and I don’t smell smoke on the Breakaway except in the casino, I did not smell it “ wafting” down through other decks

The only time we smelled smoke was in the casino! Really nothing to see or do in that part but casino!
