Review summary

THREE reps at Cheap Cruises said I would get a $100 and a $50 On Board Credit in addition to a $100 Amazon Gift Card. When we got on the ship, we only saw the $50. After waiting a few days to see if the $100 OBC would show up, which it did not, the ship staff let me use their phone to call Cheap Cruises. Cheap Cruises told me that the $100 was not an On Board Credit...it was the Amazon Gift Card. THIS WAS A LIE. We were told different by three different reps. I purposely called Cheap Cruises (as I do with NCL) to keep verifying the perks we were getting. I will think twice about using Cheap Cruises and, being associated with the Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Police and Coast Guard Auxiliary...all of who have used Cheap Cruises based on my PAST recommendation...I will be sure to inform them, at my next meetings, to reconsider Cheap Cruises.

Park West is the biggest ship scam going. They sell posters, which they call lithographs, for outrageous prices. They should be banned from selling on the ship.

Always ask for a copy of your freebies. That’s a proof. And bring it on board. Easier to make it right if something happened or call the company that supposedly gave you those.

We use Cruise Only and everything they "promise" is in the summary of your cruise receipt. The only catch is that there is a form you have to complete prior to sailing to get your OBC. Luckily, my agent did it for all 5 of our cabins.

EdnAngie, I also use Direct Line Cruises. Never had a problem and always got what was promised.

Typical bait and switch, lie, lie, lie tactics. Always get it in writing instead of false promises. The nerve of these phonies!

That's terrible, sorry to hear that happened to you after you are on the ship and it is out of your control. Its sad that they didn't give you the credits they promised and you had to reach out to them as you started your cruise and to have to be upset like that. I hope you were able to let it go until you were home and that you were able to enjoy the rest of the cruise regardless! We have always used Directlinecruises they send email confirmations as well as mail it to us. You will find a better liaison for your next cruise and enjoy it thoroughly!!
