Review summary

Overall a great trip! My only complaint is the ship is very crowded. As a business owner myself I do understand the need to operate at full capacity. I would give a little more space to the cabin hallways and limit the quests to 3500.

I see people suggesting going during off season. I don’t think they have an off season anymore. I have going in October out of NY and ship was still packed and lots of kids.

I'm hoping November is less crowded month.

We are going on the Escape in October! We were on the Escape in April of 2017. Love, Love the Escape! Hopefully it won’t be as crowed in October as it was in April. Can’t wait, only 73 more days😊

I'm going out of NYC in Nov. I hope it's not at capacity. But I will make the best of it no matter what. I can always find a quiet spot...or a not so quiet spot...lol!! Plus I'll have my own balcony too. 👍

We thought the Escape was way over crowded when we sailed out of NYC, far less packed out of Miami... Pretty sure it’s because the NYC crowd max out the cabin capacity far more (there’s a much younger age demographic too)...

I love the smaller ships as well. But sometimes the best prices are on the mega ships....especially off season. I never go from June to beginning of September, or any school breaks. I love kids, I have several, but not all children behave the way they should away from home. 😏

We go hen school is in session less kids makes it seem less congested on the big ships like the Escape. We do prefer the Gem it’s a perfect size

If you want to travel on a big ship during the hot season, all I can say is go off-season like we do. It’s not as crowded.
