Review summary

Norwegian has stepped up to the plate with the newer ships. They are bigger better and have more to do. More importantly, the entertainment was great (our previous cruise with NCL had painful entertainment) and the food was above and beyond expectations. Don’t skip the specialty restaurants or entertainment!!

Arrived at the port early, and after waiting for the security gates to open we got on quickly. Had to line up in the dock house for a while to book restaurants. That finished we were on our way.

Food in all venues we visited was fabulous! The specialty restaurants were really outstanding; especially Cagney’s and Teppanyaki.

I've only ever been on NCL, so I don't have much to compare. I might someday try RCCL, but honestly their design sort of scares me...lol!!!

Good to hear. First time on Escape Nov 4. Hope I can see it all...lol! Looking forward to it. I've booked more shows than I usually do so I'm glad to hear the entertainment is good.
