I love cruising and this ship was amazing! This was my first time on Norwegian and this ship is huge! It is very modern. The food was pretty good and also the entertainment. One suggestion, if you get the package to eat at the specialty restaurants you should make reservations ahead of time. I had a package to eat at 3 specialty restaurants and all 6 or 7 specialty restaurants was booked by the 3rd day I was on the cruise. We only got to eat at one restaurant on the very last night at 9:00 pm and that's because I pleaded with them to fit us in! So take it from me and make reservations ahead of time. I will say it was delicious though! I will definitely cruise on Norwegian again, but a different caribbean cruise. I felt the excursions for the Western Caribbean cruise to Honduras, Belize, Cozumel and Costa Maya was kind of pricey. Overall it was a wonderful, relaxing cruise.

The embarkation was very crowded and I felt getting on was way better than getting off. However, it did rain and I think that caused the process to get backed up.

Food was pretty good. Only got a chance to eat at one specialty restaurant because they were booked woth reservations. So I would advise you to make reservations for the specialty restaurants ahead of time. However, the complimentary restaurants were great!
Onboard Activities

There were a lot of onboard activities and information sessions you could attend. The Deal or No Deal eas a lot of fun to watch. I went to an information session on foot analysis, weight loss and the were very informative! I didn't get a chance to do the water slides because the line was so long all the time.
Entertainment

The entertainment was pretty good. One complaint I have is that I went to Adult Kareoke and kids were allowed to be there and participate. Also, the selection of songs included very little R&B songs. Also thirsty need to find away to shuffle the order of the people because you would hear the same person sing 3 songs in a row and that made it boring along with having to hear kids perform. If its suppose to be adult kareoke then children should not have been allowed to perform.

Very impressed with the Escape! My balcony cabin was very modern and spacious. I loved the monitors Thursday was on the floors to show you a list of where everything is and also had the capability of making restaurant, entertainment, etc reservations without having to go to guest services.

I felt my balcony cabin was very spacious and up to date. The closet space was pretty decent for 2 people. Tje bathroom was also a nice decent size. I loved it!
Ship tip
Make reservations for the specialty restaurants. Also, if you want to get a chair on the deck around the pool, you will need to get out early.
I really didn't care for the excursions and felt they were pricey. We did take a ferry boat to the island and did some sight seeing and visited a beach.
I'm going in September. I went on the Getaway last yr and loved it. This ship is almost just like it but bigger. The person above hated it. Not sure why because I love Norwegian and loved the food also. I'm sure I will have nothing to complain about on this cruise either.
Good recomendation about reserving early for specialty restaurants. True on many ships. Glad you got one special dinner. Sorry about the others. Lots of Caribbean ports yet to visit. Good luck.
