Norwegian Escape Cruise Reviews - Q&A

4.1
When travelling to new ports, do people not research the ports beforehand? I always do to find out distance from town, local currency, how much travel is involved to see the main highlights, in order to plan my day. I see so many complaints about people not realizing distance to town etc… especially Europe and Alaska with NCL. Am I the only neurotic one to do this 🤔

It also amazes me the questions people ask!! You are clearly online and have google- use it! People are just lazy, and then like to complain. I too, always do my research.

Or you could just scroll on by the person's question if you don't have the time or patience to answer them. Maybe they are looking for some insight from people that have actually been to the port.

you are not, anyone who cruises should be doing some homework even before booking and then a whole lot more after booking

There are some great sites out there to research ports. What’s In Port has a lot of useful information like distance to town center etc. it does amaze me at some of the basic questions that are asked that could be answered with a little research.
