The insurance offered by cruise lines is generally not very good. I recommend using aardy.com as they will give you quotes from several different companies and you can compare coverage to figure out what works best for you. The prices are reasonable and you get much better coverage.

Allianz! It’s a good bit cheaper with more coverage.

I buy Allianz every year. We travel alot and it is far better than others and covers both of us for every trip for the entire year.

There are many websites. I use insuremytrip dot com and type in my travel parameters to get different options. Had to use it last year for a trip cancelled due to riots at my destination, and I got back all my money.

and keep in mind even if you spend more on the outside ins it gives you a whole lot more benefits than the cruise line offers.
